Lost Access keys; cant retrieve Account info - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, my first post here.

Anyway, i didnt know where else to ask. I havent played Guild Wars for over a year now, and wanted to start back up. Thing is, i lost my Factions and Nightfall access key, but still have my EotN access key.

Its taken about a week for the Support to finally get to saying this but here's what they sent me (copy-pasted from the email):
"Hello,

The Factions, and Nightfall access keys are very important and are used to assist us in verifying you as the owner of the game account. Please try to the best of your ability to attempt to locate the following information so that we may further assist you with your account issue.

_ What are the 25-digit access keys associated with your Guild Wars game account? (Please include access keys from all campaigns that you own.)"

I've completely lost the Factions and Nightfall ones, but theyre saying they cant help me any further unless i get them.

Am is forced to just give up now? why cant they just use my EotN access key? its not like I'm trying to hack my account, since it hasn't been played for over a year.

What do I do?

ps: sorry if this is in the wrong place to post this :S

EDIT: i even remember my first password. I've told them all my account info besides the Faction and Nightfall access keys. do they really think "well, hes right on everything, but i still dont trust him." Sorry, I'm just bitter over the whole thing.

There has been countless scammers trying to steal accounts and that's why they are timid about it. For example, your friend could just as easily walked over to your house and copied down the access keys. To top that off you told your friend what your old pass was is etc.

From what I know,
Your remember your e-mail and character name but not your password.
You however remember your first password.

I don't have the link but you can contact Gaile from Anet and she can help you. Some one post the link?

If you want to discuss any support related issue's with Gaile Gray, who is their Support Liason, you can contact her on her support Discussion wiki page:

If your unhappy with how Support is assisting you, the only advice we can give is to contact Gaile Gray and bring the matter up with her.

I'm going to close this thread - simply because there is nothing further we can do/say to help you at this time. Oh, and to avoid the inevitable trolls from comming out from under their bridges
